Costs and Charges

We at DandA Media know how annoying it can be when a company offers you services but wait for you to request a quote before letting you know how much money you’ll need to spend to see your creations come to life. Here we try to be as transparent as possible about what your video will cost you.

Of course, the type of video you’ll get will be based on the amount of money you are willing to spend. In a perfect world we’d all like to make a music video in the Bahamas for very little money but, sadly, it is not a perfect world! We will endeavour to keep costs down and are always willing to discuss the best way to go about this.

Below you’ll see the minimum amount we’ll charge and what this charge will cover. All prices are exclusive of travel charges, we are willing to travel anywhere you wish, or, if it is a days shoot, we are quite happy to meet you wherever you wish to travel to. Don’t forget, we will not proceed with any video production until you are 100% happy with what you’ll be getting for your money.

Basic Showcase Package- £750 + Travel Expenses

This is our “Simple Shoot” option and is a basic showcase format for anyone wishing to promote themselves. This will entail us providing you with a 3-4 hour shoot at a single location of your/our choosing. The shoot would include around 5-6 takes of you performing to a track (lip sync) and us recording from different angles and viewpoints. Once finished we will cut them together to give you a performance based video for general promotion. If your location includes power we will provide simple lighting or, if needed generator hire can be arranged.

Performance Video Package- £950 + Travel Expenses

This is one step up from the Basic Showcase. This will include more takes, around 6-10, and a longer editing time to get a more performance enhanced video for your promotional purposes. If needed, the costs would include lighting and generator hire.

Performace Video Plus Package- £1400-£1500 + Travel Expenses

This is where things get interesting! For the Performance Video Plus Package you will receive half a days worth of shooting, greater lighting, more equipment (tracking, crane usage etc.), a simple stroyline if you want to shoot a more cinematic style of video. The editing and post production will be far more elaborate and will provide you with something to get yourself truly noticed and a greater chance of airplay, especially online!

Performance Crew Package – £2000

This package will get your more performance recording, a larger crew and equipment, including steadicam usage. Also a more elaborate “storyline” to your video if necessary, which could include actors and dancers if needed. This is the sort of package you’ll need if you are aiming for television airplay.

The Animation Package – £2400

This package includes the usage of greenscreen, CGI or any other form of animation for your video, it also includes venure hire, if needed.

The Ultimate Package – £3000

This package is for a 2 day shoot, in multiple locations and includes the use high-end recording equipment and better use of animation if needed.

The Ultimate Package Plus – £3000+

If you have the funds then this could be the package you want for a serious shot at airplay. This includes the use of high-end recording equipment including filming your video on The Red One (True Cinematic Quality), and the use of specialist eqiupment your budget can handle. You’ll need to discuss with us what you have an idea of wanting before we can go ahead with the shoot.
